Philadelphia, PA., September, 28 2023 –  Hobbs and Company and ElecVulum  are pleased to announce the appointment of Matt Koch as the new Vice President of Sales. In this newly created role, Mr. Koch will spearhead the company’s efforts to expand its Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging business, focusing on identifying opportunities that enable companies to achieve their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and sustainability objectives.

Hobbs & Company was founded in 1940 as Hobbs Electric, by Thomas and Althea Hobbs. By 1969, Robert Hobbs had taken over and incorporated the company under the name it is today. 

Originally, Hobbs & Company was just working on small maintenance, but has since grown exponentially. In 2016, Edward Collison, a 25 year employee at Hobbs, took over as President and in 2019 became owner. Collison continues to move Hobbs & Company forward with exciting work in the Pharmaceutical & Healthcare space, and expansion into Electrical Vehicle Charging stations as ElecVulum
